I was a little worried after reading the reviews, but it was definitely not as bad as it seemed. Having a room five steps away from the beach when you have a little kids is amazing. I brought my own cleaning supplies and cleaned the room before we unpacked.

When we ask the staff for something from the front desk, we never got it. I had to go downstairs and ask the laundry room guys who are so helpful!!

Basic breakfast starting at 6:00 am, comfy bed and pillows, clean carpet, good size refrigerator, lots of electric outlets in room, microwave, coffee in lobby 24/7.

Coffee maker in room didn't work, walls pretty thin could hear neighbors talking, booked king room but got two queens (told that was all they had, but no big deal), stairs risers were different heights and tall!

Poolside bar should be open on weekend nights or at least something there on weekends. And some kind of breakfast you have a restaurant there should be breakfast the secret garden is to expensive for what they have available

The lobby had a really bed smell for all of the stay. Same in the hallways. The carpets in the room also need a better cleaning. Also I wish they had offered clean towels after a day or two. There was no cell reception in the room - at all...

The room was very unclean, to the point my husband and I point looked at one another debating on whether to sleep in the vehicle or not. There was snot smeared all over the bathroom wall along with hair from the previous guest. The floors had not been mopped in many stays.

Where to begin. We waited what felt like forever to checkin, because there was one front desk worker available when we arrived (at just before 5pm). It was over a 30 minute wait (while I had a screaming toddler in my arms), and once it was our turn I was told that there the system was down and she could assign me a room but give me no room keys and housekeeping would let me in and I’d have to go back to the front desk later for a room key. So we go up to the top floor where our room is assigned and it so unbearably hot. There was no air conditioning in the hallway. We could barely stand the walk from the elevator to our room it was so hot. (Which of course was longer because, the elevator closest to our room was broken down.) So we leave after about an hour of changing and freshening up in our room and see that there is still an insanely long line to check in. So I decide okay I’ll get my room key when I come back because we had dinner reservations. We leave and come back just after 11pm. We walk back into a new front desk worker, who bless his soul, was dealing with a massive line of people all saying the same thing “none of us have room keys”. So he is solely alone in this hotel trying to manage getting keys for everybody and run the desk for other requests as people come down from their rooms. We wait an additional 40+ minutes while others are dealing with this same issue and are finally given room keys. This gentleman was the ONLY worker who was kind and professional and apologized for the inconvenience of it all. I truly felt so sorry for him. As we get to our turn for keys, the system goes down again and we are unable to get keys for an additional 15-20 minutes while this poor employee fights with the machine and tries to troubleshoot what’s wrong. We finally get upstairs and by the time we got keys and got into our room, it’s well after midnight. the next morning after breakfast, which was decent, I spoke with the manager at the front desk who had arrived.
