I loved the easy after-hours check in. The private bathroom was great and was a good size. The breakfast was very good. The location was excellent and the property was in good shape. The room air conditioner was excellent.

I’ve come to this property many times, even as of recently. My son loves swimming and this is one of our go to places. Typically, I’ll rent a room for a night or two. Usually I have a pretty good stay, not this time.

It was very disappointing this time. The check-in clerk was uneducated about policies, booking and third party reservations. He didn’t ask the other hotel clerk who was there (who had checked me in before and is nice) for help or to fact check what he told me. He refused to look into my room situation. I booked through booking.com and on the app, it chose the room for me and didn’t show any options. He told me that it was a standard King room. I asked to upgrade it, even if it costs more. (Which I have done several times in the past) He would not do this for me. The shower was also very old and clanky, dingy and not very good water pressure. The remote didn’t work for the TV and there wasn’t anyone at the desk any time I crossed the lobby. Which would be fine, if someone came out while people stood at the desk. The man who checked me in stuck a handicapped woman on the third floor, all the way down the hall, the furthest from the elevator. He felt it was acceptable. Which I told him, I typically walk with a cane. And I asked to switch room and upgrade. He denied and spewed some bull- about it being third party booking and he can’t even see the reservation and can’t touch it, which obviously isn’t true. How else would he check me in?

The motel is currently undergoing extensive renovation. Staff was wonderful, aesthetics poor but in the process of improvement. This place provides a relatively inexpensive way to stay in Mammoth Lakes

The location was good and the staff were very friendly.

I felt like the online pictures didn't match the reality of the room. The sink barely drained. There was mold in the bathroom. Just overall looks like a lack of maintenance and updating. For example....little pieces of the tile grout came out of the bathroom floor every time we walked on it.
