Conveniently located near the airport, and not too far from town. Very homey feel, with spacious living area, kitchen and bathroom. Kitchen stocked with some nice snacks and water.

Clean, comfortable. The king bed was very comfortable. Was well stocked. Close to our destination (the dock to do crabbing).

The hot tub was a great amenity feature but it was in the backyard and you had to go out the front door and go down the driveway to get to it. It also had something in it that foamed and made our eyes hurt. The kitchen stove was a flattop and the front burners wouldn’t work unless they were on high. We were trying to save some money by cooking at the house instead of going out to eat and ended up burning our breakfast. We did use them to cook our crabs that we caught.

I was VERY disappointed in the treatment we received when we arrived. I made my reservation via booking.com as I’ve done many times before. The girl behind the counter did not seem to know what she was doing and kept repeating that they don’t like when guests book through a 3rd party app. The commentary continued even when our room keys didn’t work and someone else had keys to our assigned room! When I went back downstairs to get this corrected she spoke to me as if this was my fault. She never once apologized for the inconvenience. The entire interaction was inappropriate and not a good representation of the Hampton Inn & Suites. I have never been spoken to like this at a hotel before.

Outside very run down. Outlet that TV was plugged in to didn't work so had to plug in to different outlet. Bed was kinda too firm. Hot tub needs to be hotter.

The first room we got before moving to a second room 1) poor smell 2) the shower didn't work 3) the water didn't get hot 4) no shower gel in the tube in the tub 5) the tv didn't work we couldn't change channels 2nd room- poor smell which made it uncomfortable making me think it was unsanitized like the carpet was stinky and the water still didn't get hot. I did inform the night staff and the day staff begore I left about all of the problems. Wont be staying there again
