      The main reason that I booked this hotel was that it offered free parking in central San Francisco. In fact, they let us park when we arrived even though it was way before check-in time, so we then went exploring, and returned later to check in. The room was spacious, but see below.

      Despite its great location, this is one of the strangest-designed hotels that I have ever seen. The rooms are basically built in three sets of balconies over the parking garage. This would be okay, except that the elevator is not working (this seems to be permanent) which means that bags have to be dragged up and down two or more flights of narrow stairs (and also that the hotel is not wheelchair or disabled accessible). In general, the whole hotel is rundown, not too clean, some light fixtures in the room were out. Breakfast was very basic.

      It was close to the pools and the beach area. The beds were comfy. Water pressure wasn’t the greatest.

      Our room was next to the laundry facility which kept us up during the night. The shower was so small and not adjustable..the shower head did not even reach us and it was very uncomfortable. We have two dogs and the dog park area in the back was locked off with a pad lock. There were other dogs roaming around without a leash in the parking lot. We will not stay there again.
