    - “The apartment is located in a large building, and there is a security guard at the entrance, making it really safe. It was big enough to host our family of 5, although one of the kids used a mattress set on the floor. We could prepare a simple breakfast using the kitchen, even air-fry our pao de queijo. The location is excellent, just two blocks from the Copacabana beach and Blue Note Rio. There are terrific places to eat around, as well as washing facilities and stores. It's very well communicated with buses going everywhere around the city, and the metro station is just around the corner.”

      It was a very last minute booking for a hotel that accepts pets. We had a small suite and it functioned well. The rooms were small but that was fine. I am 5'2" and the only mirror only let me see the top of my head. Catalina for the most part is very old construction and very few dog friendly places so I was happy to get it and happy to be staying there. Many hotels have window AC, stairs and no elevator so if you have a health issue that can be a problem. The staff were very helpful with many things. I had a 4pm late checkout for only $50 more. The location is great.

      It was in a great location plenty of restaurants around. The guy that worked the front counter was really really nice. Our TV was totally unplugged from everything had to have management come up and program it again. Found some garbage underneath the chairs.

      Easy to get to. Recently remodeled. Exactly what we seek in a room - you can park at your front door, no one above you on the second floor, we don't need two queen beds or a suite. Very clean, quiet.
