- “I loved the size of our room, so spacious to have a one bedroom mini apartment with a kitchen if we needed and a tiny view of the bridge, but otherwise surrounded by nature. I had the morning sun hitting me during my coffee in the kitchen every day and the entire space, including the bathroom, felt very modern and new. It was also a 13min walk down to the ortakoy ferry stop making travel super easy and a great base for exploring istanbul. The staff were very kind and esmail especially helped me practise my turkish which was kind of him! We ended up extending our 2 night stay to 4 nights because we enjoyed the comfort of the place that much!”

  The hotel was very close to the interstate and only a short drive from Winchester historic centre. It was also a short drive from a drive in movie theatre which was good fun. The hotel is showing its age around the edges but the staff do a good job at keeping it clean. The rooms are the standard layout of two queen beds, a tv,fridge and microwaves a shower over the bath which had good pressure and plenty of hot water. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioner wasn't too noisy. The breakfast was very good with a choice of scrambled eggs,sausages and waffles or cereals and fruit and a selection of muffins and cakes. Check in and out was effortless and the staff were very friendly. For the price, we felt it was good value . Sure it's in need of an update but you're getting the room at a rate which reflects that. We found it perfect for our one night stop.

  The staff was absolutely incredible. Warm, friendly, and expressed the most amazing hospitality. The facility is a very cool retro turn on what was once an old cool hotel. Cocktail and small bite in the restaurant was amazing. And it's set in the middle of pretty busy and happening downtown spot.

  I liked being able to get a refund. The ladies at the front desk were understanding, kind, and very professional. I also like the big star on the side of the building.

  I didnt like the cigarette smell, mildew, stained/tattered bed sheets and sticky carpet in the first room. Had a hard time breathing in there (asthma) so asked to be moved. In the second room, I didn't like the stains on the walls, bug dust and who knows what(???) On the lampshades, the cigarette smell, dilapidated bathtub that literally had BLACK MOLD in it. leaking faucets, and that the toilet didnt flush. The fact that they moved us to a newly "clean room" and it was as described was a major insult. The elavator is on its last leg, didnt even bother looking at the pool. This hotel is a health hazard. Very seedy people, so expensivd for what you "get". Do not come here if you have asthma or any ounce of self respect.

  Bed was comfortable, room was clean. The staff were courteous and informative. At the restaurant, the salad and bread were delicious and the server was very nice.

  We had elk medallions for dinner. They were tough and not tender. We expected a better cut for the price and there was an $8.00 charge to share a plate but it did include an extra salad.. The room was very small and not what we expected, but okay for one night.
