    - “I loved the size of our room, so spacious to have a one bedroom mini apartment with a kitchen if we needed and a tiny view of the bridge, but otherwise surrounded by nature. I had the morning sun hitting me during my coffee in the kitchen every day and the entire space, including the bathroom, felt very modern and new. It was also a 13min walk down to the ortakoy ferry stop making travel super easy and a great base for exploring istanbul. The staff were very kind and esmail especially helped me practise my turkish which was kind of him! We ended up extending our 2 night stay to 4 nights because we enjoyed the comfort of the place that much!”

      The location on Beach Ave was excellent, right across the street from the beach and within easy walking distance of restaurants and shops. Free on-site parking enabled us to leave our car and walk to many of the places we wanted to visit. The desk staff (Dessie, in particular) were helpful, as was the young lady who volunteered to carry our bags up two flights of stairs. I also liked the tote bag system for getting fresh towels daily without having the whole room cleaned.

      Going up and down the steep front stairs as well as the two flights to our room was challenging at times for older legs. That was the only downside to this lovely, historic establishment.

      Everything was excellent, I would not recommend sleeping on sofa beds which is normally not great anywhere, but we just slept one on the couch with sheets and blankets. Beds were incredible, best bed I've ever slept in!!

      We had several problems while there. The major one of which was the electrical outlets in room. Not only were there not enough but some were damaged. We had to buy an extension cord just to charge our phones. We also were told a lie when they closed the pool in sunday evening 4 hours early. We were given a certificate for later stay but told we couldn't get a refund of any kind bc we booked thru bookimg.com. that will keep us from using booking.com in the future. Were also told we couldn't upgrade our room bc we used booking Com
