Definitely the buildings were rustic. The beds were comfortable. The showers were vintage, unique tile. The stairs outside the rooms are quite loud and creepy but they give you a sound machine and ear plugs which is nice. We didn’t really have to use them because everyone was pretty quiet at night and morning. Loved the Adirondack chairs overlooking the bay by the rooms.

I loved the view, the room were clean, most of the staff were nice, good parking, kids friendly, the pool was really nice too.

What i didn't like is that, I stayed there for 5 days.. Not once did anyone come to give us fresh towels or at least clean up a bit. I have never been somewhere were they don't check up on the rooms. It was super dark there at night, they could at least add some by the pool.

The staff wasn’t accommodating at all. For example, the next morning we went downstairs to purchase cereal that they sold at the front desk. I asked the woman if they had regular white milk as the fridge only had chocolate milk. Her response to my 5 year old son and I was “I’m sure we have more milk, but it’s at the shop and I will get it later”. Lol, but you sell cereal AT THE FRONT DESK! No offer to go and get more as I was purchasing cereal for my son. The staff weren’t even friendly and actually acted like we were an inconvenience. We definitely won’t be going back especially at $183/night. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else that offers more for your money! Also, they were black hairs on our CLEAN towels. And the restaurant food is terrible and tasteless. Seriously, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. There’s definitely better options for your family and hard earned money.

Overall, my stay at this location was great! I would certainly return! The front desk staff was exceptional! The air conditioning didn't meet my expectations didn't seem to be very cool at night which made sleeping a little uncomfortable. I dined in for breakfast. There is an African American cook, and he provided great customer service made sure I had silver ware and was very attentive. There was a Caucasian male working the front end and he didn't even acknowledge my presence, never asked me if I needed anything but was extremely sociable and friendly to the other Caucasians present in the dining area. Being that I am an African American female I certainly don't want to attribute that to race but the obvious was just that. Again, great stay overall but yeah!

Air conditioner never got the room below 78 degrees and was quite loud when running. The beds were not comfortable. The sofa bed was unbearable. Those things made for a very uncomfortable night for everyone in the room. The ice machine on our floor stopped working and we had to go to a different floor for ice. The pool and hot tub area seemed a bit dirty, the hot tub had lots of suds in it, like there was soap in the water and there were several spots throughout the area where paint was peeling. Just rather unsightly. The whole place gave off a very low rent/unkept feeling. Would not recommend to anyone for the price we paid.
