- “So welcoming and comfortable from the minute you enter. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room, although on the small side was really comfortable and spotlessly clean. The shower was great and the supplies toiletries were lovely. The bed was comfy, and there was a hanging rail for clothes and a hairdryer. The USB charging points by the bed were useful too. The bar / breakfast room is great, the brewery themed decor was really well done. Speaking of the breakfast, it was on par if not better than some I've had in 4 or 5 star hotels. The scrambled eggs were THE BEST I've seen on a buffet - light and fluffy unlike the tasteless, watery offering you often get! The staff at breakfast are so accommodating and helpful, and extremely on the ball with clearing tables. The location is good, the road at the front is busy but we couldn't hear anything from our room. The train station and city centre are a 10-15 minute walk away, I'm sure there are buses but we didn't bother. We had travelled by train and arrived hours before check in time and asked to pop our bags in their secure luggage room, but to our surprise were told our room was ready so we were able to freshen up before heading off to explore. We've stayed in York multiple times over the last 8 years, at least once a year and this is by far my favourite place that we have stayed in. I have paid much more to stay in far inferior hotels! (But please don't put the prices up, we want to come back ;-))”

  I loved the view of the arch from my room. I loved the amazing beds and having an extra blanket in the closet for more warmth. I loved the cleaning lady being next to our door daily so that we could get fresh towels. We came for a concert and picked this hotel because it was in walking distance to the venue. I loved waking up going to breakfast just to joke around with Yadi. She was so funny and just a pleasure to be around. She never made us feel rushed to eat and really made our experience there the best. She encouraged us to come back and I told her we would as long as we could see her again.

  The first night we checked into our room, it was on the fourteenth floor. We looked around for a luggage cart and even asked the front desk for help and they could not find any carts. We had to make multiple trips from the parking garage to our room carrying all of our stuff by hand. I went to take a bath at the hotel and noticed that the water drain in the tub was not cleaned and had brown rust coming down the area. I also looked up under the brown counter and further to the back it was dirty up under them, the light had dust on it and it looked like a slight mold was starting to come into the corner of the bathroom. It's no ventilation fan in the bathroom so I had to shower with the door open just to get some steam out. We had an ice machine across from our room but it didn't work.

  Location, right off the freeway, away from dowtown Pismo. Able to take strolls to near by hotels and access to the beach.

  I had the patio, ocean view room. It would of been great if the patio had a patio umbrella. The sun was great, but got to hot to continue enjoying the patio, needed some shade. The pool could of been heated a bit more.
