This little offbeat motel absolutely stole my heart. A friend and I stayed here for a night to see Oasis at the Rose Bowl. Several other concertgoers here as well. The rooms are absolutely no frills, but clean and comfortable and perfect if you just need a crash pad. It was the staff, however, that really added to the charm. Everyone was so genuinely nice, friendly, helpful, seemingly enjoying their job of hosting others. in addition to having some basic continental breakfast items in the morning, they also had pastries available to the guests from the local bakery. Love this place.

1 bedroom King Cottage was larger than what appeared in website photos. Neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Had a view of the ocean across the street. Was visited by black tailed deer strolling the neighborhood. Bed was comfortable. The space was perfect for a quiet couple or solo traveler. I brought my dog and it was perfect for us. Cottage, grounds and area were charming. Loved loved loved my stay!

Most of the time the wifi worked fine but just know you should have a strong mobile Hotspot if you really need to get work done.

Great hotel, great large kitchenette suite for staying 7 nights. Ample breakfast, tasted great, but not much variety, however, they also served a free dinner 3 nights. Free self-service laundry right next to the Fitness Center.

One of the rooms bathroom tub was clogged because of plumbing issues causing one person to not shower until the next day. Owners son was rude and disrespectful and made guest pay for a room that was not in good condition. Actually made sure she was out by 11 or get kicked out and made no accommodation for the poor condition. Towels and linen were stained in all 3 rooms booked and all three had cleanliness issues. I did not report my issues I just took pictures and cleaned myself and used my own linen. This hotel has really gone down and I will not recommend it any longer nor stay there. It was one we always stayed for the last 20 years when I town.
