The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
When guests stay at the property, they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff is, and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

This is a very old hotel. The tile un front of elevators was constantly wet from people coming from pool. The breakfast buffet was a joke. Food was cold. Generic cereal. No tea bags.

The room doesn't get cleaned unless y I y put a sign on the door, which no one told us about until I asked for towels. Room had a musty smell, atleast we could see the beach.

It was real convenient, very close to where I need to be. The location was great. This is my third time there in the last couple of years. And I'll be back again.

Unfortunately, our experience at The Rose Cabin did not meet expectations. While the home itself is a good size and we did enjoy seeing a bear outside, the negatives far outweighed the positives. • Upon arrival, the door handle fell off as we were entering. • The hot tub did not function properly. The water never heated beyond lukewarm, and it had an unpleasant, fish-like odor. • Wi-Fi was unavailable for the first half of our first day. • Cleanliness was a major issue. Spider webs were present throughout the cabin—kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms—which made the property feel neglected. • One of the king beds collapsed under normal use. This should not happen given the weight of the occupants. • Hot water was inconsistent. Only the master bathroom had reliable hot water. • The outdoor grill was in poor condition—dirty, rusted, and falling apart. • No basic kitchen staples (not even salt, pepper, or sugar) were provided, which made meal preparation more difficult. • The listing inaccurately described the location. It stated a “3-minute walk to downtown,” but in reality, it is about a 25-minute drive. • Parking is not adequate for multiple vehicles. • Most concerning, after being given approval for early check-in and receiving the door code, we briefly entered the property and returned later to find a worker inside the home without notice. Summary: The cabin was not clean, did not match the description, and lacked basic upkeep. Considering the cost, it was not worth the money and felt like a poor value overall.
