- “So welcoming and comfortable from the minute you enter. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room, although on the small side was really comfortable and spotlessly clean. The shower was great and the supplies toiletries were lovely. The bed was comfy, and there was a hanging rail for clothes and a hairdryer. The USB charging points by the bed were useful too. The bar / breakfast room is great, the brewery themed decor was really well done. Speaking of the breakfast, it was on par if not better than some I've had in 4 or 5 star hotels. The scrambled eggs were THE BEST I've seen on a buffet - light and fluffy unlike the tasteless, watery offering you often get! The staff at breakfast are so accommodating and helpful, and extremely on the ball with clearing tables. The location is good, the road at the front is busy but we couldn't hear anything from our room. The train station and city centre are a 10-15 minute walk away, I'm sure there are buses but we didn't bother. We had travelled by train and arrived hours before check in time and asked to pop our bags in their secure luggage room, but to our surprise were told our room was ready so we were able to freshen up before heading off to explore. We've stayed in York multiple times over the last 8 years, at least once a year and this is by far my favourite place that we have stayed in. I have paid much more to stay in far inferior hotels! (But please don't put the prices up, we want to come back ;-))”

  Had a bad rating traveling on motorcycle decided to try for the price checked in late guy was great gave us extra towels and blankets even came to the room to help get tv working older motel but everything was clean and bed was comfortable

  Hostess was wonderful - was willing to let me in earlier if needed. There wasn’t any toilet paper when I arrived and had to contact her to bring some. She ran right over .

  Unfortunately the Spa tub had hair and it was dirty. I did mention this to the hostess and she apologized for it. but didn’t offer a resolution. Needless to say, I couldn’t use it. The main bathroom shower tub was dirty /black and dingy, the still had left over dry soap that was never cleaned off. Towels given seemed dingy. One of The medium size towels had make up stains all over it. Room was not cleaned efficiently. You can also tell room carpet wasn’t vacuumed. Bed was comfortable but I was afraid of it not being sanitary. I believe if they up kept the cleaning it would be perfect .

  The fact that she was able to work with me since I didn't have my physical copy anymore... The elevators work...

  The fact that there's hair from a I'm assuming the housekeepers everywhere... When getting a room for an extra day having to move rooms just for nobody to be in the one that I was in... And the one that I moved to didn't have a lot of dishes... And the floor sinking in feeling like it's going to bust open... The fact that they charge $15 a day for pets... I don't expect all motel 6's or studio 6s to be the same but majority of them don't charge at all unless they are a big dog which mine is definitely not... The extremely expensive drinks and chips in the vending machine... And in both rooms the stove light didn't work... My first room the stove fan didn't work but in the second one it did...

  Me and my wife stayed at this property for 3 months on and off and although most of staff was great but we had a incident where the front desk Girl gave our room number out to someone we don’t speak with anymore and and they came to our room to fight my wife and when I told management on her nothing was done and after that she started being very strange and mean to us and then told the GM that I made her feel uncomfortable with something I said and I never even spoke to her besides checking in or out and shortly after that the GM place us on DO NOT RENT saying she can’t have her uncomfortable and never even investigated it or anything just took her word for it. And we always paid and when we didn’t we check out until we could, we always strip our room clean for housekeeping to have a easy job and never once was mean to anyone but the amount of money we spent and to get done like this was crazy and a lawsuit is coming because we felt embarrassed and all. And the girl name is Casey and we not the only one this was done to and the GM name is Jamie and she just immediately took her side. This hotel management is very unprofessional!!!!

  The first room wasn't cleaned and the second room y'all put me in the air conditioner had a freon leak so I had to check out early and I still haven't gotten the refund from the first booking that I had to change my reservation and I need the refund from checking out early
