What's not to like about the Galleria Park Hotel? I mean the staff is amazing, helpful, and kind. The room was nice and clean. The bed was comfortable. The sipping hour was a great surprise. The location was right in the middle of it all. Oh and let me shout out the valet and reception I wish I could remember their names so so kind and provided tons of restaurant/bar recommendations. Can't wait to stay here again.

It was loud. You could hear the people upstairs walking as I'm sure they heard us downstairs. The shower had a strange almost sewage smell so I wore sandals in the shower just in case

We have booked here every summer the last few years and we love the location. We don't move the car once we arrive, you can walk to everything!

This is the first year they only allowed 1 car per room. We had to pay a daily rate and then a separate overnight rate every night for our second car. I understand parking is tight but I think if you book a room that can fit 6 people there should be some flexibility with allowing more than 1 car for those rooms. I'm guessing this must be new because I've never had a problem obtaining a second parking pass.

The location on the strip is good. The casino is a decent size and the restaurant and shopping options are good. The outdoor grounds are pretty.

Parts of the room felt unclean. Lots of times rooms just start to wear down but this was actual cleaning issues. The light switch/plug in the bathroom was literally black with dirt and fingerprints. There was orange makeup smeared on the wall in the bathroom. These issues were concerning as I noticed them the minute we walked into the room, it makes me think that if the obvious isn’t getting cleaned, what about the not so obvious places that I could only pray had been wiped down and washed. Also, check-in was a joke. The hotel has about a dozen check-in kiosks but all of them were down except for two. We attempted to use both machines which required putting in drivers licenses, passports and credit cards only for the transaction to be voided. Even though we had pre-checked in online, we still had to wait in line for 30 minutes. They only had two agents working at check in. They allowed two different guest to butt in line in front of us because “they just had quick questions”. I wouldn’t say the service was friendly, it was as basic as a transaction can get.

It was good for what we needed it for. We stayed one night and left early to continue our roadtrip. Breakfast had variety and coffee was yum.

Amarillo is not that great. The steakhouse is the only reason we stopped here but I wouldn't do it again.

The place was not clean and had a bad smell. There were not enough clean towels and everything looked dirty and cheap. We found out the garage key was broken and we had to fight so hard to get a new key. The elevator didn't work that added more stress.
