Perfect location a block from Mo Botanical Garden. The living room pictured above is charming, despite cheap uncomfortable sofas. Kitchen with ample coffee and cooking implements appreciated. Big dining room table and comfortable TV room sofa and large TV with many channels

1. The thermostat does not work! When I ask that this be addressed a very surly maintenance guy showed up unannounced and pounded on our door. He growled that “this thermostat” requires you to switch between heat and cooling manually; I.e, this thermostat does not work at all. In the middle of the night your choice is to broil or chill. When I called Booking.com for help, I was unable to understand the very courteous worker’s English and they were unable to resolve this. At least they refunded $189 of the rental. 2. you’ll be greeted by a filthy front porch with scratched and faded paint, then a front door with its duty, gnarled and snagged blinds warning all comers that a crack den may lie within. Then you enter a dark cave where all surfaces are painted a deep battleship gray. 3. The floors and all surfaces were filthy. When I texted landlord to complain they sent a polite woman immediately who ran a filthy rag over the surfaces. No floor cleaning was offered. 4. The beds are cheap metal that squeaks with every movement. 5. We were gifted with a half roll of toilet paper to last us two weeks and no replacement trash bags. 6. There are almost no electrical outlets. 7. The place reeked of marijuana. The landlords said they couldn’t help that because it came from neighbors upstairs. 8. I had to work from home during my stay. This was greatly encumbered by the fact that the internet did not work reliably and only then terrribly slowly. 9. We rented this place with he understanding we’d have a washer and dryer available . No instructions were provided about this. I contacted the landlord and learned the laundry facilities were in the basement. The basement came straight out of a Dracula movie—dark, dripping with puddles, filthy beyond imagining, but there were indeed at the far end of the zombie maze a washer that pounded and shook itself into a 360 circuit when used.

It’s clean and they upgraded us to a suite for no extra charge! We love how it was walking distance to main attractions and how safe they make sure their guest are! Definitely staying here again!

Good location in manhattan for being right in the middle of everything with quick subway access. Hotel was smaller than most so it was easy to navigate and get service quickly.

There were some definite signs of wear and tear in each of our rooms. Such as loose door latches, loose wall mounted toilet paper holders, and some light fixtures that were non essential to the room just didn’t function (over the headboard on the bed). Any issues we did have we brought them up to the staff and they addressed them within 30 minutes with their on sight maintenance.

The room was a bit small and it would be helpful to have someone at the door to help load and unload bags from the taxi. I didn't encounter any assistance upon arriving or leaving.
