The picture of the property is extremely misleading. Seems that it would be isolated in a nice location but in fact is in front of the busiest street of the city. The walls must be made of paper and the windows must be quite thin because it is quite noisy in the room. The hotel is extremely expensive and not worth the money

This was close to the beach and not far from places of interest to visit, get groceries etc. Beach chairs and umbrella were great quality. Very comfortable living spaces. Washer/dryer full size so laundry was easy to do. Lovely screened in porch was fantastic but for traffic noise and could use fans.

Noise!! Didn’t know this house was literally bordering on the causeway with only a partial wall between the backyard and the busy street. Since it was right off the bridge there was traffic all the time and rumble strips. Sadly, won’t choose this house again. Wasn’t obvious in the listing. If noise isn’t an issue then this is terrific. Ceiling fans would be nice in bedrooms, but portable fans were provided. No fans in bathrooms!

The only issue would be the parking but that is the same with most hotels in the French quarter. Luckily there is a parking garage a block away with decent rates!

The road noise was the worst! Room 301, was like having the window wide open, and semi trucks passing all night long!! Not a restful nights sleep. And what’s up with the door, several inches of exposure. Black mold in the shower, and over all dirty looking, gross.

The TV in our room did not get a connection, and we had to change rooms. Additionally, the hotel system and the Booking.com system were not integrated. I had to call Booking.com and was on hold for a very long time while they canceled my reservation with them so that I could pay the hotel directly; otherwise, I would have been charged at the hotel and then again by Booking.com. It was a mess and an inconvenience. I reserved two rooms for 2 nights and was charged for three rooms, but after calling the hotel, they reversed one of the payments. The hotel is lovely and clean, as it is a brand-new hotel.

The bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We liked the thermostat on the wall.

The sofa was low, very uncomfortable and perpendicular to the TV. To watch the TV from the sofa you had to twist sideways to watch. Also three doors that all opened up to each other in the bathroom area was a bit cumbersome.
