- “These are small but practical bungalows directly at the beach. Two or three bungalows are directly seafront, the remaining ones are behind, with a side sea view. Anyway all of them very close to a beach in a beautiful garden with high trees. During our stay the tide was low during mornings when the water goes back a few hundreds of meters and the tide was high in the evening with convenient swimming in the water. The staff is very friendly and will give you detailed information about the accomodation and island. The bungalows are small but convenient and well working. There's a private bathroom in the bungalows. The bed was pleasant with perfectly clean sheets. The location is very convenient. It's easy walking distance from the port and center, still it's in very quiet natural place. The food court is also very close. We enjoyed our stay here very much.”

  The property is beautiful, quiet and clean . The beds are very comfortable. They have everything that you would need including a laundry, pool, hot tub, gymnastics. The breakfast buffet was great. So many choices including eggs, sausage, hash browns, waffles, fruit, yogurt, muffins, juices etc. There is also ready made coffee all day in the dining room. Will definitely stay again.

  I liked that they have a shuttle service to downtown and the airport. The hotel also provided breakfast (eggs, sausages, potatoes, coffee, tea, muffins, cereal, etc, though neither fruits nor vegetables), which was included in the price.

  Room was smelly, seems that they have a humidity problem. Although its not the motel's fault, it is located next to 5g antennas.

  The staff are extremely friendly. Everything is very clean. It’s absolutely beautiful. And the breakfast and cocktail hour are amazing as well. Our favorite hotel we’ve been to!

  The only downside is there can be quite a long wait time for the elevators which are also really small so you can’t always fit into them when the elevator finally stops for you

  The room had nice amenities. Location was convenient for our trip passing through. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

  The room was filthy. We checked in really late after a long road trip. The room had a horrible stinch, smelled like a dirty dog. We sprayed some air freshener to neturalize the odor. We relaxed a little and got ready to go to bed. We moved the pillow off the bed and there was a big ball of hair on the bed. There was food crumbs in the floor and leftover food in the refrigerator. When I turned the shower head on to take a shower, 2 big piles of long hair washed down the tub toward the drain. I'm not sure if the room was even cleaned between guest with that many cleanliness issues. That was our first time to stay at a My Place and could very well be our last. We are traveling cross country and had spent the 5 previous nights in 5 motels in 5 different states. This was the only one that we've had that was disappointing. It is almost impossible to clean a room and have that many items that were over looked. It made us very concerned if the bedding and pillow cases had been changed if everything else was done so poorly. The number one thing for us to make or break a motel is CLEANLINESS. This failed miserably.

  Proximity to downtown was good. Breakfast was good. Front desk telephone support was good while booking.

  We checked in late (after 10pm) and our room hadn't received housekeeping services during the day. After complaining, we were moved to the next room over, which was OK. Overall, facilities were barely adequate. I had the feeling management wasn't reinvesting in the hotel to meet marketing allusions - so much potential squandered.
