Good vibe. Nice decor, friendly and helpful staff, live music in the bar, comfortable bed. Loved the music theme - every room had a Victrola and there were countless vinyl records to take up to your room to play. Even guitars to sign out! After arriving in the early evening, a spring outside on the roof deck at The Sunset Lounge to watch the sun set over the foothills and town was a great way to start our stay in FoCo!

Liked almost everything. Some rooms have a view looking out over the parking garage, so ask for a different siding that matters to you. The second floor courtyard patio seemed great but wasn’t very practical - padded furniture is not protected from rain so stayed wet, and the wet floor was slippery. We tried to use it on a sunny morning but there was loud construction at street level directly below. Those are minor complaints!

I never ever write a review whether it good or bad because being a business owner I know you can't please everyone no matter how good of a job you do or how nice and polite you are to someone but I have to get this off my chest. The Indian woman that runs it or heck probably owns it is the most ridiculous miserable prejudice woman that I have ever met. I've never in all my 48 years have I ever been sitting in my room at just 14 mins past 11 getting the last bit of my things gathered up ready to checkout and all the sudden the room door just opens up and here she stands with two metro police telling me I should have been gone 20 min ago like you miserable I can't even think of any words that would be enough insult to this ridiculous woman that she wouldn't take as a compliment but it was just complete idk just blew my mind like most motels give you until 11:30 even 12:00 before they even call the room phone asking if your staying or checking out much less wasting metro police time to escort me out of the building and the breakfast I've never had watery eggs until that morning but to each is own I will sleep in my car even under a bridge before I would ever step foot on that property again
