- “So welcoming and comfortable from the minute you enter. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room, although on the small side was really comfortable and spotlessly clean. The shower was great and the supplies toiletries were lovely. The bed was comfy, and there was a hanging rail for clothes and a hairdryer. The USB charging points by the bed were useful too. The bar / breakfast room is great, the brewery themed decor was really well done. Speaking of the breakfast, it was on par if not better than some I've had in 4 or 5 star hotels. The scrambled eggs were THE BEST I've seen on a buffet - light and fluffy unlike the tasteless, watery offering you often get! The staff at breakfast are so accommodating and helpful, and extremely on the ball with clearing tables. The location is good, the road at the front is busy but we couldn't hear anything from our room. The train station and city centre are a 10-15 minute walk away, I'm sure there are buses but we didn't bother. We had travelled by train and arrived hours before check in time and asked to pop our bags in their secure luggage room, but to our surprise were told our room was ready so we were able to freshen up before heading off to explore. We've stayed in York multiple times over the last 8 years, at least once a year and this is by far my favourite place that we have stayed in. I have paid much more to stay in far inferior hotels! (But please don't put the prices up, we want to come back ;-))”

  The staff was so super friendly and helpful. All of the staff Day and Night including the security. The rooms were super nice and clean. They were so clean we could walk around the room with no shoes, and our feet did not get dirty. It had a great kitchen in it with 2 burners a pretty much full-size fridge/freezer. It came with all the cooking appliances you would need to cook your own food. Dishes, silverware, coffee maker, toaster and ice bucket. It also came with dish soap to wash the dishes. It was super quiet could not even hear the neighbors. It had free laundry you just need to get your own laundry soap which is fine. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

  There are burnholes in the curtains. We found eyelashes from someone else's stay, stuck to some pages in the Bible in our room. The remote to the TV didn't work because the batteries were dying. The bathroom was not even close to the photos you advertised. The pool deck had trash on it. Not clean. The beds are god knows how old. Feels like im sleeping on legit a plywood board. Our door would not shut right away most of the time. And when it did shut right away it SLAMMED. We paid $200 dollars to then PAY FOR PARKING ?! WHEN THERE WAS AMPLE SPOTS AVAILABLE. Will NEVER stay here again nor would I ever bring my child back to this place. Had I known it was going to be like it was I would have paid even more to stay somewhere I felt safe and clean. I won't recommend this place to anyone. I will for ever be traumatized by this hotel. Id prefer a refund honestly. And an extremely hot shower to wash god knows what off my body from those beds and chairs.

  I had a really good experience with the unit 506. But with unit 205 was different, that unit needs more attention, the air conditioning needs maintenance it sounds terrible and doesnt work properly. The living room floor and carpet arent in good conditions, and some kitchen utensils were not completely clean, needs more attention.
