  Ramada by Wyndham Great Location - near to Penn State University Room - size was acceptable but glass wall at the main door was not good Pool - looks great but have not tried it Breakfast - for 1 night it was delicious but staying 4 nights with same breakfast was not good Staff - 50/50 some staff at the reception was good others are not Safety - I can say the hotel was safe.

  The hotel is very old, and the lobby looks nothing like the photos online. At check-in, the front desk employee could not explain why I was asked to pay more than the confirmed amount in my Booking.com reservation. When I pointed out that this violates California law (California False Advertising Law, §17500, and Unfair Competition Law, §17200), I was told that all hotels in San Francisco charge extra beyond what is shown on Booking.com, even though my confirmation clearly stated that all taxes were included. This was untrue — when I moved to another hotel, I paid exactly the amount shown in my booking, with all taxes included.

  It smelled like urine when we first walked into the place. We had to go get some air fresheners . Our room was soo hot it made me partner sick. He was vomiting from the heat. We unfortunately couldn’t find another affordable place to stay for the night so we stuck it out until the morning.

  My first room smelled so strong of urine. I called the lobby, he offered to send “maintenance up” what? To spray some febreeze on it? I had to ask to change rooms. Got a new room, the air conditioning was so loud! When it went on and off, sounded like someone was hitting it with a jackhammer. I got absolutely zero sleep. The week before when I stayed there it was great. Not this time.
