- “I loved the size of our room, so spacious to have a one bedroom mini apartment with a kitchen if we needed and a tiny view of the bridge, but otherwise surrounded by nature. I had the morning sun hitting me during my coffee in the kitchen every day and the entire space, including the bathroom, felt very modern and new. It was also a 13min walk down to the ortakoy ferry stop making travel super easy and a great base for exploring istanbul. The staff were very kind and esmail especially helped me practise my turkish which was kind of him! We ended up extending our 2 night stay to 4 nights because we enjoyed the comfort of the place that much!”

  It's an older motel but it's been kept up. In fact, it appears it's had some updates and remodeling done. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Conveniently located as you come into town. Parking was close and convenient. We ate breakfast at a restaurant in town so we didn't take full advantage of the hotel breakfast but it looked interesting. We had to sample the chili and it was good (though not something I would normally include in breakfast). What this place lacks in pretension and fancy airs it makes up for in charm and a warm welcoming attitude. We only stayed one night and didn't have any kids with us but it looked like a family could really settle in with the big game/arcade room.

  I didn't really care for the long funky hallway to get to our room and having to carry bags up steps. Adversity does a soul good, though so I shouldn't complain.

  The cozy cottage exceeded our expectations. The serene location with a deck overlooking a pond was lovely. Bed super comfy. Extra amenities such as a stocked fridge with beverages and candy much appreciated. As well, a wonderful breakfast prepared by Nick and delivered to us in the morning was outstanding. We will definitely return to this wonderful place. Nick was such a warm and welcoming host.

  The host was super helpful and friendly. The place was clean and tidy. The hostel is in the suburb of Jersey City - not the most exciting area, but for me I appreciate the quiet. For a hostel it's pretty good!

  If you have big luggages, it might be annoying for you to drag them all upstairs. The stairs are wooden and the passage is narrow - typical for a house in the suburb of New Jersey.The host was kind enough to carry it up for me when checking in, but yea not ideal for a long stay. The location might not be ideal for some. If you're looking to stay at a place where you are close to shops and restaurants, then this one might be too far for you.

  I love the customer service everyone was very polite, Everything was great.

  The only thing I didn't like was the smell of cigarettes in the room .I personally have bad migraines in I wasn't too happy I had to go get candles with smell on them to have the room smell better in spray with lysol, other than this problem I had a nice stay.
