The room was very spacious and clean, and I appreciated that there were many places (chairs/seats) to sit in the room. The breakfast options were great and I appreciated the fresh fruit. The pool was nicely heated (even at night). The exercise room was clean and well kept; the machines worked like new.... Also, although our room was on the ocean side (but had street view because we were on the first floor), I didn't hear any train or airplane noises, so I really appreciate that!

I didn't know that there was a parking fee, and none of the staff mentioned/asked if I had a car to register to the hotel. I got a parking notice/ticket for the first night in their parking lot. The front desk said that I didn't have to pay for the first night but will have to pay for the second night ($40, I think).... Also the sofa bed, according to my son, wasn't very comfortable.

The code was given after the check-in time and we found bed sheets piled up in both dryer and washer, which was a bit concerning and unpleasant. This was a relatively old unit with unstable electricity in the bathroom.

The lock on door did not work, like at all!! They did not tell us the door would not work so we struggled fighting keys, tracking down each other's keys, and getting new keys. When we finally did go to the front desk for help they were so rude about needing to help. It was not that the keys did not work, they had to come up with a machine to unlock the door manually every time our door got shut. We had young kids and a few possessions that made it difficult for us to leave the door unlocked when we were down the hall or gone for the day. To be honest most of the interactions we had with the primary gal on duty at the front desk was atrocious, she was rude, and one of the times she was not even at the front desk she was sleeping in the back and was so mad we called the number to get her to come to the desk. Unprofessional!

Hotel was old, smelled bad , carpets dirty. There was even a moisture bag in room to catch moisture moisture smell in room bad. Had to buy room deoderizer due to smell. Staff did clean room but it was just old.

We arrived at the property early, and Apryl met us at the front desk. She went above and beyond to ensure that we could check in early.
