- “The apartment is located in a large building, and there is a security guard at the entrance, making it really safe. It was big enough to host our family of 5, although one of the kids used a mattress set on the floor. We could prepare a simple breakfast using the kitchen, even air-fry our pao de queijo. The location is excellent, just two blocks from the Copacabana beach and Blue Note Rio. There are terrific places to eat around, as well as washing facilities and stores. It's very well communicated with buses going everywhere around the city, and the metro station is just around the corner.”

  We were comfortable. Only issues were that the in-room coffee pot was broken, and the HVAC system was set up and/created by someone who is beyond our level of computer knowledge: once to office to get a "remote" control from Celius to Freiheit, and 2ndly to figure out the temperature setting-heat vs air conditioning. A young motel employee came in and at least got it to function better (much appreciated). The room was fit our needs nicely and the staff was very cordial.

  I paid for 14 days and 9 of those days I didn’t have any hot water. When I said for a refund the laughed in my face and said 20% was the best they would do for 6 days. I had no hot water for another three days so I went in and asked for a better deal they told me I can leave and now are treating to take away the 20% discount they gave me. It’s hit my bank but they said they will take it back. They would go into my room and measure with things like the thermostat (came in and they had the heat on at 99 degrees), would turn lights off that I left on, open my fridge and ruined my food I had in it. Horrible service and staff.
