  The place was rustic but friendly. We arrived late so we didn't get to enjoy the ranch until the next morning. The breakfast was great. Our unit, which was a cabin, was very roomy and well-appointed for our short stay. We paid extra at the last minute for a horseback trail ride with a guide. Mailia was great and loves her job.

  The room was small, but well appointed and clean. Decent lighting and well maintained. I liked the big, heavy duty four hook coat hanger which accommodated my riding jacket, pants, heated liner and regular jacket.

  I arrived at 5:15pm and there was no one in the office. A sign on the lobby door directed me to the co-owned pub next door. The guy there was confused but was able to help me. When I left the next morning at 8:10am, there was still nobody in the office and the pub was locked up. I tried calling the hotel phone number which went to a voice mailbox for a women - not the hotel. I left a confused message about trying to check out. I searched for and found a key drop for my key and finally left after never seeing any hotel staff. I don't mind the way it worked out, but the confusion and mystery could have been solved with better communication or printed instructions - "please check out by dropping key in key drop" on the lobby door or something.

  Clean room,good bed, quiet area,A/C pretty quiet. Hot water for the shower .If you want to watch TV ,you need to sign in to your Netflix acct. Don't forget to sign out of it when you leave

  No one on premise at any time.except for housekeeping in the morning. Wanted to switch credit card billing to another card and couldn't get a person to help even after calling the recommended phone number . They say it's run like a bed and breakfast with out the breakfast (and other amenities).

  Needs a deep cleaning. Dusty vents and dirty floorboards were a disappointment, given the high rating. Downstairs shower drips cold water while in use. Pool was a nice to have but the backyard was too buggy to be out there for long.

  A decent place to stay considering the price.

  The cost of a travel size toothpaste was $5 which I did not buy. Some hotels offer them complementary. There were signs posted everywhere regarding $1000 and $5000 fines for food or drink in the pool area or being there without permission. It seemed excessive. Nevertheless, I did not drink my coffee while watching my kids at the pool. Bummer
