This place is excellent! Right on Ocean, views of the beach. Some of the pictures posted online look dated but each time I've stayed there the room is fully updated and amazing. This place is a gem.

They have a decent assortment of breads and cereals. Yogurt is also available. The gravy was good and had meat in it. We ate it over our eggs. The biscuits looked dry so we didn't try them.

The bed was hard. The one chair in the room was at the desk and has seen better days. I had chosen a room with a sofa and the desk and chair as we had stayed there last month and realized the sitting area was a desk and chair. We got the same type room, but paid for one advertised coming with a sofa. We live just about 50.3 miles from the facility but had chosen to get a room as we had an egagement in Joplin for both Friday and Saturday and did not want to drive home in the night. The lady admitting us said that they have a policy that requires customers to live over 50 miles from the motel as local kids had been renting rooms and trashing them. She graced us with an extra mile. We are obviously older and did not fit the profile of someone who would trash a room.

I would have given the hotel a 10 except for their use of Styrofoam for breakfast dishes and cups. It seems like most hotels today have become more eco friendly than this. It's a beautiful place but they need to get on board with getting rid of the use of Styrofoam.

had to ask for bath stopper in the handicap room which was promptly delivered and blackout blind was missing but there was no obtrusive outdoor lights so all was great. oh and one wall of electrical outlets was out so had to move microwave and coffee maker to the bathroom wall

AC in the fitness center has been broke for over 2 weeks. This used to be the go-to place for our multiple day stays because of amenities and an alternating breakfast menu, now the breakfast is just the same thing every day. Room, especially the floors and bathroom haven't been very clean the past 2 stays.
