The shower was great and the supplies toiletries were lovely. The bed was comfy, and there was a hanging rail for clothes and a hairdryer. The USB charging points by the bed were useful too. The bar / breakfast room is great, the brewery themed decor was really well done. Speaking of the breakfast, it was on par if not better than some I've had in 4 or 5 star hotels. The scrambled eggs were THE BEST I've seen on a buffet - light and fluffy unlike the tasteless, watery offering you often get! The staff at breakfast are so accommodating and helpful, and extremely on the ball with clearing tables. The location is good, the road at the front is busy but we couldn't hear anything from our room. The train station and city centre are a 10-15 minute walk away, I'm sure there are buses but we didn't bother. We had travelled by train and arrived hours before check in time and asked to pop our bags in their secure luggage room, but to our surprise were told our room was ready so we were able to freshen up before heading off to explore. We've stayed in York multiple times over the last 8 years, at least once a year and this is by far my favourite place that we have stayed in. I have paid much more to stay in far inferior hotels! (But please don't put the prices up, we want to come back ;-))”

  Very quaint and tastefully decorated. However, the staff were the highlight and were absolutely incredible. Sian, who did breakfast and happy hour service, was especially was so nice and helpful. Front desk staff were pleasant, professional, and attentive.

  Really not worth the steep fee. Could have been more expensive just because of Labor Day weekend. Expected more luxurious furnishings, a more extensive breakfast menu, and reserved parking for that kind of fee. The hotel is facing a main road, which detracts from the quiet vibe with big trucks and cars making some road noise. The patio faces directly into the road

  The bed was so high and the tv was so small and lower than the bed. We could not watch it from the bed. We chose this motel because of the advertised spa room, and they said it was closed. The bathroom also smelled really bad of mold.

  It was so clean, very easy to access downtown and also restaurants were close as well. Very friendly staff and very accommodating. I can’t remember her name, but the only way I can describe her is there was a black lady with braids or dred locks and she was maybe between 28-35 and she made us laugh, and really enjoyed the checking in process. We stayed in a room so that we could see the Tennessee Aquarium, and there was a market there that they have on Saturday mornings which is neat, directly past those cars in the parking lot. The bathrooms was excellent, and very clean. The shampoo and soaps were cool. They have them positioned on the wall, and they have a eucalyptus scent which smells great. Not strong, just right. Tv works great in the room. The sheets and comforter was very cozy, as well as the pillows. Lighting is neat as well. Everything was awesome.
