The location was excellent! Within walking distance of neighborhood delis, subways, and Central Park entrance was right out the front door. Quiet and clean neighborhood. There are rooftop balconies which was a pleasant surprise. Little kitchen downstairs if you wanted to cook something quick was also a pleasant surprise. Citibike docking station right out front.

I wished the lobby kitchen was open all day. Breakfast options were reasonably priced and looked delicious. I also wished the cooler with sandwiches, yogurts, and fruit parfait was available all day as well.

Overall, the stay went amazingly well. Th communication was always efficient and the place was clean and close to the beach. I'll will probably book again because this property is great and its at a great price.

There was not much to me not to like, the only complaint is that they don't offer extra toilet paper or anything like that, but its not a huge deal. Perhaps I didn't read correctly, or it's not in the house rules, but is not that bothersome.

The room was spacious but worn. The shower had a soap scum ring around it. The balcony we weren't able to enjoy because we were told by the front desk something was wrong with it. The floors were sticky and could use a good cleaning around the baseboards

The hotel is located behind an abandoned business, very dark, and it looks like you're entering a horror movie. Once we checked in, we found out that the pool was closed even though on the app (we booked on booking.com), it said the pool was open. That was one of the reasons we booked the hotel. It was very outdated and smelled. We got in our room and it was dirty, it had been cleaned but it was just dirty. The bathroom was grungy, and around the tub and behind the bathroom door was actual dirt piled up. The walls had water damage on it like the room had been flooded. The clock had a white scum all over it. We talked to the front desk, called booking.com, and then left the hotel, we didnt feel safe. We had absolutely no contact with the hotel after that because they wouldn't respond to any emails. Every phone call was given the same reply that it was sent to email via the manager, and there was no reply.
