- “Great location! The proprietors Olav and Brigitte were fantastic hosts. We rode our bikes on a terribly rainy day, and they assisted us with our baggage and even cleaning the bikes off too. The room was excellent - first class linens, and great bathroom products. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic too - we enjoyed a nice sampling of yogurts, meats and cheeses. We even got to sample several of the cheeses that Brigitte sells in her store. Arcen is a quaint beautiful little town, and La Dominette is right in the center. Wonderful restaurants are within a 50 meter or less walk. This is an outstanding B & B - one of the very best we’ve ever stayed in!!”

The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, the plumbing is high-quality, and the beds are comfortable.   Price was in my budget and close to downtown for the appointment I had scheduled.

  The room smelled extremely musty upon entering. The shower curtain didn't not fit inside the shower, too short, leaving me to dry water on the floor after finishing my shower. The bodywash, etc. provided was not attached to the wall correctly. It could have easily been tampered with. Luckily I brought my own supplies.

  Room not ready at 730pm, with no idea of when it would be Front desk personnel told me many times she could cancel my reservation and I could go next door. Inside the room, the phone did not work. I wanted to contact the front desk because the tv was not working .person came to fix tv, had to come back to reprogram it. He had to call for help and discovered the cable was disconnected. The heater/ac unit was unplugged took me a minute to figure out why it was not working

  parking issues, as is expected given the location. However - the elevator being broken for over 24 hours with a room on the 4th floor and an outdoor stairwell filled with cigarette and pot smoke was unacceptable.
