  The photo made it look like a very pleasant place in the woods. ask for directions… and explained my concern that it was going to be night when I arrived.. They gave me an address.. and suggested using GPS..

  I love forests.. and cabins.. This place was in the woods alright.. BUT🤨.. Neither the ADDRESS I WAS GIVEN nor the GPS made a bit of difference.. it was IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND THE PLACE I PAID $146 FOR. ..There was a small sign with a light at the outdoor road “entrance?” of this place.. but nothing much after that. IT WAS PITCH BLACK .. the bumpy roads were VERY VERY remote.. which would have been okay, but were not because of EXTREMELY LIMITED SIGNS.. The few helpful “road “ signs mostly said, “exit” or “this road closed” … or “do not enter, “. There were only a few named “cabins????”.. (I guess that’s what they were…. but, they were in places VERY dimly lit .. with strange names.. but I never found the “Manuel” cabin they told me I was booked into.. The road itself was mostly narrow and often kidney-jarringly rough. 😡😡😡😡.. I finally gave up and found another place to stay in the small town nearby. I am disgusted So, I spent $146 for nothing!🤨🤨🤨

  I liked the food and entertainment options in the hotel/casino, also, the staff were all awesome ! Very friendly and accommodating. The beds were extremely comfortable and the room was a very good size.

  I didn't like the smoke. Even before entering the building it was thick and overwhelming. The entire stay I had red irritated eyes that burned and hurt. It got better when I was out , but every time I returned my eyes got bad. It was very painful. I also didn't like that we were told at 11 pm Sunday night that the pool was open from 9am-7pm daily, so Monday around 5:30pm we got in our suits and went down , excited for the pool because it was 104° outside , only to be told by the concierge that it was closed! I thought he was joking, but then I saw the closed sign behind him and he said , "it just changed today". We were so upset because that was something we really wanted to do and one reason for choosing this hotel. We felt lied to since less than 24hrs earlier we were told the pool would be open until 7pm.

  There was no desk lamp or other lighting over the desk. I found it very difficult to use my laptop with insufficient lighting. In fact, I had to wait for the morning Sun to provide enough light to finish my laptop work.

  The apartment needed a deep cleaning. Crumbs. on the furniture, kitchen cabinets had visible food stains and dried up food inside and outside. The kitchen had a greasy feel to all utensils and dishes. Microwave had visible food inside. Lighting and shelving were dusty. One of the bathroom showers had a hair on the soap shelf ! Our hostess came by and did an extra hour of cleaning,however, this place needed a good cleaning

  I liked that it had carpet 2 tables chairs and a microwave and fridge huge plus with your staying more than 1 day the staff were very nice and helpful. Very kid friendly I had my eyes old and he loved it the area was very quiet and near shipping and food itwas a great stay I'll for sure be back
