The breakfast was fine. The scrambled eggs were surprisingly good. The waffle batter and waffle maker were nice and my family enjoyed their waffles. The potatoes and sausage were also tasty. Coffee was tasty. The woman managing the breakfast area was busy refilling and restocking everything and wiping things down.

The room was very clean. Front desk was very welcoming. The grab and go breakfast was nicely stocked and had a lot of variety. Also appreciated the free water in the lobby. Fitness center was small but also clean.

Toilet leaked from the back when we first arrived. They fixed the leak, but toilet was barely functional the entire trip. Also, very low water pressure in the shower.

Not that I didn’t like this, but it’s one of the criticisms I have for smaller boutique hotels and that is restaurant bar closes early. This is a holiday weekend and it would’ve been nice if those things are open until midnight rather than closing at nine.

The hotel was a pleasant surprise and very comfortable. The breakfast we didn’t get, mainly because the staff appeared to ve in a heated discussion in the kitchen and didn’t know we were there. After over looking the self serve items and found little options , we left. It was also a surprise that parking was $15. The booking write up did indicate a charge.
