Found a bed bug in the bathroom as soon as we checked in. We called the front the desk, and they came up and they said it's not a bed bug.. We checked in at 12:00 am. Woke up at 2:30 am with bites all over of us. After being told it was "not" a bed bug. We had booked 2 rooms that were conjoining and if ours have bed bugs our 2nd room definitely has it. When it came time to check out of the 2nd room, they said they aren't giving us a refund for the 2nd room. We slept for 1 hour, if that. No type of help finding another room, they were fully booked so they couldn't give us another room. And the front desk lady Pamela is the one who said it's not a bed bug, I don't know who she was trying to convince, herself or us. And then became difficult at check out for the second room since there was "no bed bugs" in that room as if we weren't inconveniencing not only ourselves but also our out of town guests we brought here. Absolutely ridiculous. I'd like to also mention that the sofa bed had hair still on it from whoever used it last. We have been sitting in our car for 2 hours now as well. They didn't even try to call other Hyatt's to accommodate us. Super angry and disappointed and now we have to deal with the consequences of cleaning our things.

I specifically asked the host if there was any cochroaches prior to my arrival. I was told they have never seen one there in over 8 years. Literally not even 1 minute into the gated off door we opened the silverware drawer and several roaches scampered across the silverware. I screamed called the host who berated me and called me a liar. I sent her a video and she then Saud this is the norm in Hawaii and continued to be rude to me about complaining. I immediately left called Booking.com who offered great customer service. I was told I'm getting g my much deserved refund but still have not received it .
