The house was clean and appropriately furnished for our needs. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were adequately furnished. There were extra towels for the pool or beach. The pool was nice. We had a good time.

The kitchen was a bit too sparsely furnished. The frying pans allowed eggs to stick and were hard to clean. It would be nice to have a rug in the front room over the hard, cold concrete floor. One of the metal chairs at the table was broken and needs repair. The chairs on the front porch are rusted and fragile. We had to buy extra kitchen trash bags. More should have been provided.

The seating in the Livingroom was terrible, there was 5 of us and only 2 chairs, the " couch " wasn't meant to be sat on, it turns into a twin bed. The lower bathroom smells like sewage gas, had to keep the fan running and the door closed. There is only 1- A/C unit in 1 upper bedroom and its very loud and didn't cool down at all. The carpets looked very worn and dirty. I was truly disappointed as this was $750.00 for 2 nights.

The staff was helpful, particularly at the concierge desk and at the door staff desk (for leaving suitcases). We liked how close we were to the theater and to the Morgan Library. We thought the hotel clean but lacking in amenities of various sorts. A very basic place, but we were there only one night and so that was fine.

Since there is not even a little cafe -- it would have been nice otherwise have a mini fridge and a better lobby just for sitting and talking.

The put us in adjoining rooms and this was very important to me. I appreciate that my request was honored. Breakfast was good, varied and a value. Staff was courtious and attentive.

I was told it would be one price on booking.com and that would be the price I would pay. However, it was $20ish more each room. I was told this was for "taxes". My understanding is that was included in the quoted price.
