Three and a half hours after a late check in I was woken up by security banging on my door. No call from the front office. Said he would call the police if I didnt open. Claimed I wasnt supposed to be there said I was breaking the law.. He was extremely rude and disrespectful. I will never book at this location again. Windows were broken out, doors broken down. I couldnt sleep after that I didnt feel safe in my own room.

I didn’t like that we couldn’t use the pool when we checked in, because after 4 p.m. it turned into a club. The main reason we chose this hotel was the pool, so our anniversary celebration was spoiled. We were also charged a $35 resort fee, which was never mentioned on Booking. The room looked smaller than in the photos, but I was prepared for that. What really disappointed me was that all the windows were covered with curtains, and from one of the windows the curtains couldn’t be fully opened.

It’s a very nice and clean property in Jersey City. It’s literally right next to the Path train so it is easy to get to and from NYC. We stayed here as a family of 5, because they offer the double queen rooms with a sofa bed. Housekeeping cleaned the room every day, and we were even able to check in early since there was a room ready. Staff was nice and helpful. They even let us store our bags behind the front desk after checkout since our flight was later in the evening.

I do wish that the gym had more equipment for weightlifting. It would be nice for a breakfast option included with the stay. Sofa bed was not the most comfortable even for normal sofa bed standards
