This place was indeed a pleasant surprise. We were on a two week vacation through several national parks. During the two weeks, we stayed at a variety of hotels. Without a doubt this was the best place we stay. The interior was beautifully decorated. The room was spacious and the layout was a travelers dream come true. I can't say enough about this wonderful oasis in the wilderness.

The only thing I didn't like was we had only one night to stay. I honestly can't think of anything about this place I didn't like. If there is any negative, the hotel is located in a depressed little town, but this gem made up for any anxiety we had about our initial impressions about the location.

Folly Beach was so close. Their bicycles were a nice ride there so we could walk down the free very long pier where we saw dolphins! The niceties such as beach towels, robes, lovely furnishings and a fridge that actually freezes and cools food. The extras provided in both the room, as well as the variety of snack and breakfast items!

It was located close to the airport, which was the main reason I chose this hotel. The staff was nice and answered the questions we had. There was nothing extraordinary about the hotel. The breakfast that was provided was adequate, but not extra special.

Promised a first floor room and couldn't deliver w/o giving me the wrong room. Rooms markedly smaller than advertised. Riff-raff in hotel and parking lot at all hours. Elevator broken and beeping all day/night.
