The location was great! Dave and Buster's with a nice mall across the street! Wonderful check in with the ladies being very helpful and recommended a great pizza place! The decor is very up to date with fun colors that compliment the neon lights at night. Nice patio outside where we enjoyed drinking and having coffee. The breakfast was delicious with eggs and yummy potatoes with healthy options also. The teas and fresh ground coffee were a pleasant surprise! We loved the Dove toiletries! They all smell great and thanks for going green and saving on the little plastic bottles! The beds were comfy and I didn't hear anything all night! Outstanding hotel that shows pride with how clean everything was inside and out! Most beautiful plants when you walk in! Can't wait to come back! 😀

The location is exceptional, and everything I needed was within walking distance. The rooms here are always clean and the front desk service is wonderful! What really stood out to me was the level of hospitality Sam provided. Whether it was recommending local dining spots or just checking in to be sure I had everything I needed, he consistently exceeded my expectations.

We always enjoy our stay at the Western Front. The location is perfect when visiting family in Wise and Abingdon. The staff are always courteous and professional and each room that we have used has been perfectly clean and spacious. We love having the restaurant dining option right downstairs and the coffee shop nearby in the morning.

the weather - it was rainy with flash flood warnings during our visit in July- but that, of course, is not within the hotel's control!

The hotel is right next to Acadia National Park. Very near the Bar Harbor twon center. We find many great restaurants in Bar Harbor. We had our great lobster meal there. Very relaxing place.

We arrived late and police was in the lobby, some guest was assaulted by an employee. The hotel did not have a name displayed. The room we were given did not have a safety lock, so we decided not to stay, especially after seeing the police in the lobby on an assault call. The room had the TV set left on very loud (we initially thought someone else was in the room). Only available rooms were on the 8th floor. Hotel seemed to be in some sort of renovation. Elevator did not have an inspection sticker...last inspection posted was years ago.... This used to be a decent hotel, then a couple of years ago was turned into a homeless shelter or something like this. It smelled like marijuana, it had a desolate, deserted feeling. Although I am not a picky person, this place was strange to say the least. The neighborhood was not the safest either, people shooting on the street.

It was overall clean and efficient on check in.

1st floor room smelled of chlorine from pool, was warm and humid and generally unpleasant. It was countered by good cleanliness. Also came across as an old facility and the price, while lower than others, should have been lower to reflect the state of the building.
