This is a gorgeous hotel with an old world charm. It seemed to have been remodeled recently. We were here to drop our daughter and the location is so convenient. Our room was nice, quite spacious and clean. The walk-in shower is a nice change from those useless tubs most old hotels have. The gym has all new equipment and was not crowded at all. There were a lot of seating areas and lounges all over the hotel. We stayed in room # 330 and the water fountain and the ice machine were right in front of our room. Wifi was decent. TV has a bouquet of channels and the OTT apps.

There is no free parking. Self parking is in the nearby garage and the valet parking is expensive for such a place. They should have more staff at front-desk. Most times there was a wait. The AC was very loud.

It is at a great location. Close to Madison Square Garden and Times Square. Also close to the bus and train station. A few minutes walk to destinations.

It's advertised that they have washer and dryer facilities on site, so we packed accordingly since this stop was going to be the middle of our trip, and we expected to do laundry there. Unfortunately, their washer and dryer were not working and seemed to have been out of commission for quite some time. The desk worker was kind enough to suggest we wash out some clothes in our room and then bring them to the office to dry them for us. We did that and really appreciated it. However, it would have helped to know about this in advance and/or adjust the description on the bookings website. Fortunately, our final destination had a wonderful washer and dryer in our unit, so we were able to get more clothes ready for hiking, but we would have been in a tough situation had that not been the case.

Spacious living area with plenty of seating. Fabulous pool & outdoor area with ceiling fans.

At arrival none of the promised supplies were provided. Contacted management company immediately but was accused of not being truthful based on false photos provided by cleaning company. Took many follow up texts to finally receive essential supplies. Also, shower curtain in 2nd bathroom hung extremely high, that it does nothing to keep water in shower/tub. Slip danger & need to mop up water..

The sheets had stains. The walls needed to be painted. It was "sketchy" for a woman traveling alone. If I had not prepaid, I would have left just based on the check in desk.
