We really like Cambria hotel properties because we've generally found their facilities, design aesthetic, comfortable mattresses, great bathrooms and overall amenities to be really nice and an excellent value. We also like to book Cambria properties because of their proximity to the airport and free shuttle. The Spokane airport front desk was very helpful. We liked the comfortable bed, nice linens, excellent water pressure in the shower and the bath products (shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion).

Our experience with the Spokane airport property was disappointing relative to stays at other Cambria hotels. The minor issues were that the room was really small, and the king bed was so close to one wall it made it difficult to get around it without hitting my ankle on the corner (I am slim, and though mindful of the tight squeeze I still hit my ankle). The outlets adjacent to the desk area were impossible to access because the side of the built-in desk was so close to the wall. The desk lamp did not have USB ports or an outlet so I couldn't find a convenient place to plug in my laptop. The lighting in general was really poor. Turning on the overhead light above the cabinet next to the closet required opening the sliding door to the closet, which impeded access to the refrigerator below. The major issue was that I am sensitive to noise and requested a quiet room but was assigned a room on the top (4th) floor closest to Hwy 395, facing the airport. I hoped the traffic would ease up but even using silicone ear plugs, I heard traffic noise all night long. We could hear the next door guest's alarm at 3AM. Lastly, this hotel does not have a shuttle but contracts with Lyft. Ordinarily that wouldn't be an issue, but as we were transporting large bike bags our concern was the Lyft driver's vehicle might not accommodate our oversized luggage. So we extended our minivan rental rather than turning it in the night before our departure, as we'd originally planned. All that said, the amount we paid for our room was fair, but given similar circumstances I would have been willing to pay more to stay closer to the airport, further away from the main highway and hopefully gotten a better night's sleep.

Room smelled like faint urine. The desk chair had a big spring right in middle you couldn't even sit on it with out feeling very violated. It was kinda dingy, the blankets were so thin. I mean for the price I knew it was a cheap room, but it would of been nice to be able to sit in the chair at least.

This time the staff was terrible!!! They gave us a room with no refigerator and refused to give us a room with one!!! We have been staying at this motel for over 5 years and it has usually been very nice, but when I asked for a room with a refrigerator they refused to give us one, even though there were other empty rooms with refrigerators in them!!! I mentioned that we have been staying here every time we come to town for over 5 years and they still refused to put us in a room with one!!! I will tell you this, we will never stay here again!!!! You need to get staff that is more understanding about accommodating senior citizens, especially returning customers like my wife and I!!!!!

I really had only one thing that could have been improved on and that was the bathroom light. It is very dim since it is only a light around the mirror frame. And no vent in the bathroom, either. The room had a very musty odor when I got there, but I went to Walmart and got an air freshener for it and it was better.
