I liked the convenient location and the fact that it was an oceanfront property, the ocean view from our balcony was lovely. I loved the atrium with its ponds and various birds, fish and turtles. The hotel staff was exceptionally nice and accommodating. We liked the Atrium Cafe, the servers and cook were also very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast and lunch were good.

The property is somewhat rundown. It needs a good cleaning. Carpeting is dirty , upholstered furnishings in Atrium and in the rooms are dirty, the indoor pool did not look very clean, water looked cloudy. I was very disappointed in the appearance of our room upon entering. It did not give a good first impression. The railing on our balcony was loose and partially detached from the wall and the concrete floor that was supposed to be securing it. I expected the room to look fresh and clean but it did not, it looked tired and rundown. The bathroom did not look clean and shiny, it looked like it just received a quick wipe-down. The kitchen was ok, refrigerator and stove were clean but the coffee maker and toaster were not. The upholstery on the kitchen stools were dirty looking, so was the sofa. We did not feel comfortable sitting on them. I did request to have the room re-cleaned. The front desk was very accommodating and the housekeeper was very nice. She gave the room a good cleaning, it looked much better, but the upholstered furniture needs to be replaced.

Nothing. The walls were paper thin, the brown towels were disconcerting (how can you tell if they're really clean?!), and the lack of communication is incredibly unprofessional.

We were charged a pet fee (totally acceptable) but then upon departure we were charged $80 for sheet damage with no photographic evidence. No communication, and zero response.

It was right in the center of bourbon and I didn’t have to look for a parking spot. We literally parked and didn’t have to do any driving everything was walking distance.

If there is no AC, there should at least be ceiling fans and screens. A mini-fridge in the rooms would have been great. It's thoughtful of you to have coffee and water in the lobby, but tea would be nice also. The shower was great, but for those bringing their own shampoo and such, a little shelf would be helpful. A complimentary continental breakfast is always appreciated.

I’ve been staying here while Im in town for years, it’s not as clean and great as it used to be. The pool was closed and we were looking forward to that, there was a dog in the breakfast area so we ate in the room. I understand that dogs are allowed in this hotel which is fine but I don’t think they should be in the dining room. My debit card was hacked and they wouldn’t take a check so we had to pay cash and they made us leave a $200 cash deposit at the front desk so we couldn’t go out to eat and had to cancel our evening plans. That’s really no one’s fault and I understand that. I’ll probably stay there again but my expectations will be lower.
