Modest room but amazing facilities at this roadside hotel in New Philadelphia. In addition to the on-side bar (open until midnight) and restaurant, the hotel features a large pool and hot tub leaving guests wanting for little more to do during their stay. We really appreciated and used all of the facilities.

Lack of parking for more than one car, for a large family, and the place seems a bit worn down for that price. Without the pool and hot tub it wouldn’t be worth that charge. Resort is a bit of a stretch.

It was hot in the rooms, we even had to air conditioner to the lowest setting. I called and asked for more towels and to change the sheets. They never came. There were ants in the bathroom, on the floor and the counter. Water pressure would go weak in the middle of a shower. The hotel had a very weird smell.

It was close to the hi way and there's an apple bees across the street we could walk to. Had trouble getting into pool room as we needed a pool card but pool was nice and cool for the summer day. Hard to find parking for uhaul but it was pet friendly. The breakfast was average, but they have a really good cappuccino machine in the breakfast room. I say for the price it's really not bad. Rooms were clean and I felt safe.
