Goulding’s Lodge – Historic Charm with Breathtaking Views Goulding’s Lodge is a charming historic property with well-equipped cabins that offer both comfort and character. The location is excellent, with stunning views that make the stay truly memorable. The only downside was the food, which did not live up to the rest of the experience.

Jacuzzi was cold and never got hot. And I didn't like that the rooms really didn't offer better seating. Like 2 chairs would of been nice instead of and uncomfortable office type chair.

I was charged for parking although nothing about a parking fee was indicated on my reservation. I was not given a parking placard but was charged this surprise fee. The front desk clerk was very rude and dismissive of my questions regarding this.

The tub valve didnt work properly so the tub filled as you tried to take a very low pressure shower. Also Booked so I could do laundry mid travel. They gave me a room with a key that didn't open the laundry room. When asked at check-in how to resolve that, they didn't know and couldn't move my room. The next day I asked again and was told someone would have to let me in every time or ask the desk person later. When I finally got access the washing machine was out of order...

I don’t have anything I didn’t like but I do wish the pull out bed had extra padding. You could feel the springs through the sheets and if it is an option when booking then I feel it should be made to be comfortable especially if staying a couple nights. The only thing missing was an oven or conventional oven it would have been a little easier especially with having a kid. Also some more benches and maybe a place with umbrellas would be nice also to sit outside I didn’t see any
