This is such a cool, funky hotel. The rooms are fun, and huge. This is an excellent value for the size and comfort of the rooms, easy proximity to downtown and to the MAX lines to/from the airport. The staff are lovely, and so quick to help. Frederick at the front desk was wonderful! I would stay here again without hesitation, and will seek out other Royal Sonesta chains to use when I travel in the future.

The location is good, overlooking the ocean. We like the bright large dining area with great view of sunset and the ocean. Rooms are large with large living room. Property is close to local market and so close to a restaurant.

No toilet upstairs and for seniors, hard to go up and down to use bathroom specially at night.

Location was good, lots of restaurants near by. Bed was very comfortable. Air conditioner was great. Staff were very nice. Lots of parking. Able to take my dog with me.

Location is excellent. 2 mins to the subway, 10 mins to Times Square and 20 to Central Park. The beds were very comfortable.

The rooms are very dated and basic, like staying in the 90s. The lifts were incredibly slow; on the first few nights there was a conference, it took around 10-15 mins to get down to the lobby. The housekeeping staff also took my white clothes with the linen never to be seen again. When I enquired for the first time, the reaction was very matter of fact “oh you won’t get that back, there’s 1800 rooms and we use an outside vendor for laundry”. Ok, great, but where’s the apology? I was told to call housekeeping from my room. I did and was told the same thing as if it was my fault or just one of those things. I travel a lot and this has never happened. When I checked out I approached the subject again and the second time was much better. They said the manager on duty was much better - still no apology, but they said they will try to look for it and mail to me if they find it.
