- “Great location! The proprietors Olav and Brigitte were fantastic hosts. We rode our bikes on a terribly rainy day, and they assisted us with our baggage and even cleaning the bikes off too. The room was excellent - first class linens, and great bathroom products. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic too - we enjoyed a nice sampling of yogurts, meats and cheeses. We even got to sample several of the cheeses that Brigitte sells in her store. Arcen is a quaint beautiful little town, and La Dominette is right in the center. Wonderful restaurants are within a 50 meter or less walk. This is an outstanding B & B - one of the very best we’ve ever stayed in!!”

  Spotless. I was shocked at how nice clean comfortable and cozy this place was for a little side of the road motel in the middle of nowhere in northern Michigan kudos to the owners. Check in with seamless. The beds were incredibly comfortable after a long 12-hour drive. Five stars all the way!

  The location was perfect because it was right in the center we had to go for our trip

  The facility lied to us it was under construction which they did not tell us it smelled mold they lied to us about the pool there was no pool it was under construction they should have told us what was going on the room that I reserved was not what I reserved I ordered a double room I got a regular room when I got to the hotel and I told him what I ordered and it was not what I reserved they did not want to accommodate me I complained to the hotel manager that it was not what I ordered she told me I'm sorry we don't have the room that you reserved I ordered it way well a month in advance she told and I even called a week before my scheduled appointment and she even confirmed that I had the room that I reserved which was a double room like a mini sweet I was supposed to have a couch and an extra room and I did not have that I even brought my granddaughter with me with with the expectation that there was a pool there so she would have something to do there was nothing that my reservation said it would be therefore my trip was miserable my granddaughter had nothing to do in my room was nothing what it was supposed to be

  The bathroom plumbing fixtures look like they were fairly new.

  We were in room 106 and the furniture, drapes, and carpet look like they haven't been change or cleaned since the 1970's. The arm rests on the sofa were brown from dirt and when you sat down on the sofa you would sink way down for the lack of support. The carpet was brown from dirt that had not been cleaned for a very long time. The beds were very soft with no support.
