Clean and comfortable room. Checking friends in, the woman working the kiosk line was VERY HELPFUL, and I wish I’d gotten her name! She saved the day! Helped us get a room closer to elevator for my older friends.

Check-in at 4 caused a huge line for kiosks, not even actual person. Seems they could let you check in early at kiosk (with early check in fee), just to keep the wait to a minimum. Tiny pet area, which was dirty (trash all over). Signage was confusing (Horseshoe vs Paris), especially coming in from parking garage for the first time. My room had a view of the Ferris wheel, but the windows were so dirty it was hard to see anything. AC wouldn’t go lower than 68, but actual temp was closer to 72…so if you like it cold, this is not your place.

I was greeted when I checked in by a friendly woman. Our room was lovely with a balcony with water view. The bed was very comfortable. The location is central close to beach and shopping and restaurants.

The system was down i got there to check in around 11 pm and got my key around 12:30 am. I was traveling with 2 sleepy kids. Horrible nightmare

First off I got a room that was in VERY bad shape. Sink stopper was broke, floors were nasty, the bottom of the tub looked like they didn’t clean it, the mini fridge was all beat up and had not one place in the door to put a drink bc they were all missing, and a light didn’t even work above the bed. I let staff know about it and they put me in a different room after. But how can they put people in a room with so many problems? By far the worst La Quinta I have ever been in hands down. When a room smells like wet dog that’s usually a red flag and then when they put me in the second room SAME SMELL. Do better at cleaning these rooms and actually hire a maintenance man bc to me it screamed bare minimum effort on the owners part for not caring enough to make this place enjoyable. Also use disinfectant in the rooms to cover up old water smell and actually use cleaning supplies on the floors too. No way was I gonna hangout long enough to eat a breakfast from a place that can’t keep a simple room up to par.

Rooms look outdated and hallways and lobby needs upgrades, There was no housekeeing for all the three days we were staying. On checking with reception , we found out that housekeeping needs to be requested on a daily basis ( i have stayed in several hotels and never seen this before) . We were also not informed during our check-in that housekeeping needs to be explicitly requested on daily basis.

Would have preferred front desk to specify that if you wanted housekeeping you had to ask. A/C unit in room was very loud hard to sleep. Shampoo and soap dispensers weren’t filled. Disappointed that we couldn’t get fresh sandwiches in the morning as we had rented a boat from marina and no sandwiches were available. Last day when we tried to get a muffin from coffee shop none were available but shortly thereafter after we had eaten in the restaurant some were available.
