- “Great location! The proprietors Olav and Brigitte were fantastic hosts. We rode our bikes on a terribly rainy day, and they assisted us with our baggage and even cleaning the bikes off too. The room was excellent - first class linens, and great bathroom products. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic too - we enjoyed a nice sampling of yogurts, meats and cheeses. We even got to sample several of the cheeses that Brigitte sells in her store. Arcen is a quaint beautiful little town, and La Dominette is right in the center. Wonderful restaurants are within a 50 meter or less walk. This is an outstanding B & B - one of the very best we’ve ever stayed in!!”

  I really like the property in the staff. Everyone was extremely polite. The only thing I had a problem with was when checking in I was unaware of the extra charges. I just wish they would of informed me that those were just holding charges until checkout, other than that, it was such a great day. The facility was clean. Everyone’s really nice.

  Location wise the property was seven minutes away from downtown, the property itself was absolutely beautiful. We got to walk around and enjoy a lot of the facilities.

  Great location, friendly & helpful staff, very cute, great ambiance, clean and safe.

  Very thick/high pillows (I couldn’t even use it), loud AC unit right by head so it was hard to watch TV or talk in bed due to loudness. Shampoo/soap too high for kids to reach.

  The staff were super friendly and the location to the airport was excellent.

  It didn’t have as many in room amenities that I would like in order to stay longer than one night. For instance, there was no microwave in the room and the remote control didn’t work well. Not major issues just things that I would want for a longer stay for comfort.

  I didn’t like that I chose a balcony and didnt realize the building was so close to the other building so basically if you opened the balcony door you could hop over to the next building. Kind of scared me so we kept it locked. No view of downtown and even if we wanted to sit outside there was no chairs.

  They only provided us with one washcloth for us, a couple staying two nights. We asked the property maintenance staff person who told us that the extra washcloths were in the laundry room on the top shelf. When we returned after dark, we had to fish through towels and unrelated items and found three washcloths that were heavily stained. I did not want to even touch them much less wash my face with them. We headed to Wal*Mart and bought new ones for our use.

  The property is a studio apartment with all the amenities you can find in a house. It has a TV, Fridge, all kitchen appliances, washer and dryer for your laundry, an iron and an ironing board, dishwasher and much more. The place is newly built and is very clean and tidy.
