    - “So welcoming and comfortable from the minute you enter. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room, although on the small side was really comfortable and spotlessly clean. The shower was great and the supplies toiletries were lovely. The bed was comfy, and there was a hanging rail for clothes and a hairdryer. The USB charging points by the bed were useful too. The bar / breakfast room is great, the brewery themed decor was really well done. Speaking of the breakfast, it was on par if not better than some I've had in 4 or 5 star hotels. The scrambled eggs were THE BEST I've seen on a buffet - light and fluffy unlike the tasteless, watery offering you often get! The staff at breakfast are so accommodating and helpful, and extremely on the ball with clearing tables. The location is good, the road at the front is busy but we couldn't hear anything from our room. The train station and city centre are a 10-15 minute walk away, I'm sure there are buses but we didn't bother. We had travelled by train and arrived hours before check in time and asked to pop our bags in their secure luggage room, but to our surprise were told our room was ready so we were able to freshen up before heading off to explore. We've stayed in York multiple times over the last 8 years, at least once a year and this is by far my favourite place that we have stayed in. I have paid much more to stay in far inferior hotels! (But please don't put the prices up, we want to come back ;-))”

      I like the customer service myself and son got when we entered into the hotel. Ally was the first person we met, she was very helpful with our early arrival. The second day was quiet Jill she was nice not to open towards the customers. The third person I really don't was Amanda she an angel . I really enjoyed my stay.

      Place has a great staff and pool. Has great ada accessible rooms . Playground for kids and the pool are for family fun. Food on-site.

      At check-in, my stay doubled in price! Instead of the $84 daily hold - mine was $105.00/ day! so, my $300 stay was $600!! Of course you get the $300 refunded, but its an unsettling feeling. Just heads up. But other than that surprise- it was a nice comfortable stay.
