We booked through Travago that pointed us to Booking.com. My wife is handicapped and we requested a handicapped room with no smoking on the first floor. We also indicated late check-in. Booking.com neglected to convey our late check in to the hotel and when we arrived at 11:40 PM that night, the manager indicated that the only rooms left were on the second floor with no elevator and only steps to get there. We left Econo Lodge very upset. At 11:45 PM we searched for and found another near by hotel and checked into that hotel. I will never use any Econo Lodge chaing again. This is a great place to spend a long weekend with the family. The house has everything that is needed. Kids enjoyed the game room, and adults enjoyed the backyard. Beds were comfortable. Location is great. I would book the house again later. Thanks.

We arrived very late due to a delayed flight, and the clerk greeted us with the news that our room was the last one available. He was likely tired too, but it did feel like he was telling us to "Take it or leave it."

The cleaning staff was amazing. However the lady I spoke to a few times was very rude. She even called my cell phone during a my husband's birthday celebration dinner to complain about him smokimg a cigar on the patio ( with the door closed so no smoke could enter the room) Keep in mind our patio is directly in front of an outdoor fire pit and the room has a wood burning fireplace in the room. She was extremely rude about the situation.

No internet. Being charged for internet which is a basic accomodation for any 2 star hotel Paid $200 and still being charged additional $50 in case I "ruined something" Seems like this place is looking to charge extra for every basic necessity. No drinkable water in room. A very basic 2 star hotel level room structure. Horrible attitude from staff member 9pm on September 5, 2025 while checking in. I asked about the noise, was looking for someone whom I came in the hotel for. The receptionist visibly rolled her eyes, smirked and asked if I've "ever been here before??" With a smirk, and treating me as if I don't belong. I travelled to Ohio for the first time, so no I haven't been here before. I was apalled at the "4 star" hotel which looked more like 2-3 star. So yes, I was surprised not because I didn't belong but rather the disappointment and noise I encountered as soon as I stepped in. Train your staff to stop judging people, if they're colored; and be grateful that nobody is judging them for being a receptionist at 50. The second receptionist on the morning of september 6, 2025 was very sweet. Everything else was okay. Basic room basic bathroom. Seen better at 3 star hotels.
