      Large clean room with a balcony. Comfortable bed and decent bathroom. Staff was friendly and helpful. Convenient for visiting Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

      We arrived late and trying to find a convenient parking space in back was difficult, so we parked in front which made access so much easier. The road can be noisy with the windows open.

      We had a very comfortable room that overlooked the river. The view was beautiful. The staff was very responsive to any request that we made.

      I did not like the extra fee for sharing a meal in the hotel ($9.00). First of all, I was unaware of the fee. Secondly, we ordered brussel sprouts as an upgraded vegetable. Apparently they did not have any and substituted asparagus, which they did not ask us if we wanted, AND they upcharged us for the asparagus. I will say the meal (salmon) was delicious.

      Front desk ignored me when I was trying to check in, they were trying to make popcorn and that seemed more important, they forgot to give my license back, no toilet paper in room, called front desk and they asked us to come and get it, gave my husband my license back then, tv didn’t work, didn’t tell us about breakfast or where to park for the closet entry to our room
