The cottage is a completely charming place to relax and spend some quiet time. The owners have created a comfortable and cozy spot. The kitchen and bathroom are thoughtfully equipped. The river view is outstanding! Don't be concerned about it being in a neighborhood. The cottage is tucked away right next to the river. The neighborhood is very private, wooded, and lovely. We met several of the neighbors on our evening walks and they were very nice! The owners provided restaurant suggestions in the welcome binder and we took their suggestion and had fantastic Thai food! We are looking forward to coming back!

The location was great, the staff consistently went out of their way to be helpful and friendly and the rooms were quiet and clean.

For this size hotel, the exercise area is small and seems like more of an afterthought, in the pool area. The pillows were uncomfortable, and only 3 on the bed - my husband and I had to share the 3rd, which was awkward.

One elevator was non operable during a busy holiday weekend made longer waits for the single elevator that was working. The first night, front desk did not have any extra clean wash cloths available.

The vent fan in bathroom was filthy with dirt buildup. Room smells like mold, mildew, and wet dog. The ac unit does not work well, needs the filter changed. The bed spread had stains on it, needs replacing. Floor in bathroom needs a good scrubbing

There was a strong smell in the room when we arrived. The front desk person offered an alternate room but, after checking, the same smell was present. We were told that it was temporary and would improve after the A/C ran for a bit. We decided to stay in the original room assigned to us. The smell subsided after about an hour.
