- “So welcoming and comfortable from the minute you enter. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room, although on the small side was really comfortable and spotlessly clean. The shower was great and the supplies toiletries were lovely. The bed was comfy, and there was a hanging rail for clothes and a hairdryer. The USB charging points by the bed were useful too. The bar / breakfast room is great, the brewery themed decor was really well done. Speaking of the breakfast, it was on par if not better than some I've had in 4 or 5 star hotels. The scrambled eggs were THE BEST I've seen on a buffet - light and fluffy unlike the tasteless, watery offering you often get! The staff at breakfast are so accommodating and helpful, and extremely on the ball with clearing tables. The location is good, the road at the front is busy but we couldn't hear anything from our room. The train station and city centre are a 10-15 minute walk away, I'm sure there are buses but we didn't bother. We had travelled by train and arrived hours before check in time and asked to pop our bags in their secure luggage room, but to our surprise were told our room was ready so we were able to freshen up before heading off to explore. We've stayed in York multiple times over the last 8 years, at least once a year and this is by far my favourite place that we have stayed in. I have paid much more to stay in far inferior hotels! (But please don't put the prices up, we want to come back ;-))”

  Very close to the beach and like 2 minutes walk to the ocean drive. Miami Beach signage is right at the corner of our street. Shops, stores and restaurants are all like walking distance. The place is very clean and quiet. The host was very accommodating to our needs. If we need assistance or directions, she respond right away. I ask if they provide beach umbrella and they gave us one. The lobby gives you beach towel. I’ll definitely come back again in this place and even recommend it to my friends and co-workers.

  Our shower door was not closing properly but that is just minor. It can be fix. We have to enter inside the cafe restaurant to get into our room with our luggage. It’s just a little uncomfortable especially if there are people eating and you’re passing right next to their table. We also have to take like 6-8 steps with our heavy luggage to get to the second floor towards our room.

  This place was horrible we did not even stay here my family went in & it was beyond nasty so after 10 minutes we left & found a different hotel to stay with! The sheets were dirty, there was something all over the towels in the bathroom. Between the smell & dead cockroaches laying all over the bathroom floor we didn't choose to wait around & find out what else we would find! We were able to find a beautiful clean room across the street for $8 less

  TV did not work correctly. The hotel was dirty, and had a very bad musty odor. The swimming pool was very outdated and needed repairs. Elevator did not work. Construction was going on but no prior warning was sent to us.
