The location was great. It was our first time staying at a hotel by the beach. The room view was also great but we couldn't hear the ocean because of the freeway. We thought we'd be able to hear it but nonetheless it was nice just to see the ocean from our balcony and bed. The beds were very comfortable and that's a big plus. The room smelled and looked very clean too. We had a fun and relaxing time. We went to the gym, pool, beach and even walked to the county fair for an extra fun adventure. My 5 year old son has a blast! He still keeps talking about the hotel that we stayed at, and wants to go back to. We're looking forward to our next stay.

I would say the only not so good things about the hotel were having to wait to 3:30 on the door for the room to be ready for is to check in. The check in is pretty late, 4pm. All the hotels we've stayed at have rooms available for check in at 11am which is perfect so we have plenty of time to enjoy all the amenities to the fullest. They also didn't accept our request for a late checkout, which didn't make sense considering the very late check in. That was disappointing. Another thing that was not good were the dirty carpets in the hall ways of the rooms. They were very noticeable; made me feel nervous about what they would look like in the room but it was not the case. The carpet in the room looked clean. We also tried ordering food through room service and they would not answer the phone. We had to call the front desk 3 times in order to be connected to the kitchen. It seems and we were told that they are short staffed. For the size of the hotel we stayed at, being short staffed is something that would definitely cause problems in the areas I talked about here. However, we will still come back, better prepared.

Was a cozy suite. The view was absolutely beautiful and loved that the window opens to hear the waves! The fireplace was great and liked that the TV had a sign in for Netflix! The location was great and the outdoor hot tub was amazing with a gorgeous view. The outside playground was also a plus for our toddler.

Coffee lids for the cups in the room would have been nice. Detergent was not available in dispenser machine for laundry. Bench board in sauna was completely loose. Exterior building could use a good power wash.
