The property is rural with lots of trees around. We saw wild turkeys and woodpeckers while there for our one night stay. We were impressed by the comfortable beds and pillows. The kitchen was clean as was the rest of the home. The owner was very responsive to my call when I could not find the message with the access code. He quickly texted me the information I needed. I was also appreciative of his heads up that the nearest grocery store was about an hour away. With that info, we knew that we needed to stop for supplies long before reaching the property. Though it is a good drive to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, we found it doable. We appreciated the space and two sleeping areas of the cabin rather than staying in two separate motel rooms somewhere else. There is a huge TV mounted in the living room. We enjoyed watching a movie on it.

We stayed overnight on one of the hottest days of summer. The cabin is air conditioned, but heat rises, so it took a few hours for the bedroom in the upstairs loft to cool down. The rooms downstairs were comfortable. There are blinds in the bedrooms, but the living room windows are not covered. That was not a problem for us, but might be a concern for others.

Good breakfast with lots of oatmeal toppings, bread choices hard boiled eggs coffee and tea, muffins. Nice staff hot tub and pool. Plenty places to hang out. Walked to all the tourist spots. Good a/c. It’s on a main road so we did need to close our windows to block out the sound of cars. Easy parking and a Safeway across the street. Coffee and hot water available all day!

Only thing I can think of would be cookies at checkin or in the evening and more herbal tea choices. I love it when hotels provide little extras to make your stay even more special!

They stated new owner and rooms had been remodeled. Rooms were generic, not spacious or plush. I was looking for comfort and plush with the suite for 300.00 + dollars. If remodeled, room was weathered, toilet kept running and was stained, walls damaged, door jam of bathroom busted like it was kicked in and chairs were worn and sunk in the center, very uncomfortable.

I reserved a king bed room. But I got a two full size beds. Not what I wanted. Also, there are a wired sound every few mins and happened the whole time we were there including when we sleep.
